FANUC is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the fully electric injection moulding machine ROBOSHOT, this year. The company's long-standing experience and continuous innovation in the field of injection moulding are showcased at the FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen (October 15-19, 2024). Here, at booth B3-3211, FANUC presents the latest solutions in injection
moulding technology and automation, with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, compact design, reliability and lowest total cost of ownership (TCO).
One of the highlights at the FANUC booth is a fully automated production cell, where sustainable biopolymers can be processed efficiently and precisely. The cell consists of a ROBOSHOT a-S150iB with a clamping force of 150 tons and a robot from the LR-10 series. The integration of the FANUC robot enables seamless automation, which significantly increases production output. Mounted on an additional linear axis, the space requirement of the robot is minimised.
Also on display at FAKUMA is the FANUC ROBOSHOT a-S100iB, which is presented together with the SEPRO Success 11 robot. This combination demonstrates the flexibility and versatility of FANUC injection moulding solutions, as the SEPRO Success 11
complements the FANUC injection moulding machine. This enables precise and fast handling of plastic parts, with seamless integration of third-party products.
Visitors to FAKUMA will also be able to see how quickly they can automate production steps themselves with FANUC's CRX-10iA collaborative lightweight robot, which can be easily programmed using a tablet PC and drag-and-drop function. The CRX is user-friendly, safe and flexible, making it perfect for integration into various production environments.
